Driving Slow on Sunday Morning, or walking ;)

Yesterday, Saturday, Kish and I went to the flea market. We went through the entire market and were on our last lane and about to go home empty handed, then Kish spotted a red briefcase. Oh but it was no briefcase, it was a travel grill!! He was so excited to find it, all the pieces were there too! We asked the price, then bardered down bought the grill! I don't think I have seen Kish so excited before! We ate lunch at the flea market and then headed home. That night we grilled, and it was so good. He has already made plans for the next few times he is using the grill.

Today Laura came back from Dublin! She brought back plenty of stories, tips and funny postcards. . .Later I went for a walk into more of the residential area near us. I peeked through all the fences to see dads mowing in their old zubaz(normal), kids eating dirt(typical), moms chatting on the phone outside and my favorite was lots of pairs of elderly on their patios sipping coffee and chatting. It is nice to see that Sunday afternoons are valued and spent the same in other parts of the world. It even made me a little homesick for Sunday family habits. I also found a lovely church on the hill that we can always see in the distance. They still use the church regularly and I couldn't get into it today, but I think I will try to go back for mass one of these last Sundays to see it. I walked back and stopped at the grocery store, I have to actually start feeding myself now that Brooke is gone, it should be interesting or just a lot of pasta.
It is getting nicer and nicer outside...I love this great weather, I love SPRING!

Love from Praha,

Rox
